OxCAM partners and AluStir have formed a collaboration to develop Machine Learning (ML) systems for Friction Stir Welding (FSW). OxCAM have a good knowledge of the physics of FSW as well as ML and their partner, AluStir has over 25 years of experience with friction welding.
The aiCAMstir collaboration is a group project that provides a simple framework for universities and industry around the world to develop their know-how through on-line reporting and webinars. Further information is available via the aiCAMstir FAQs page.
